President, Barry Siegel LLC
Musical Entertainer, Author, Success Achievement and Wellness Coach, Speaker, Consultant
Barry Sea Siegel experienced some success as an entertainer in the New York/New Jersey area, before switching to the field of advertising where he rose to president of a major international ad agency from his base in Houston, TX. In 2002, he began to wind down his advertising career to return to his first love….music.
In 2013, Barry combined what he had learned from music and the ad business to write and produce “Beat The Blues,” a book and original music CD package that provides “A Sound Recipe to Increase Productivity while Improving Your Life.” “Beat the Blues” serves as the basis for Barry’s Life Coaching and Motivational Speaking practice. The original music score of “Beat The Blues” includes lyrics set to blues music, that provides a unique formula to help the audience memorize and apply the most valuable lessons of the book. Barry is a certified life coach with the Life Coach Institute.
Barry wrote, produced and performs in a show entitled “Who Put the ‘H’ in Rhythm & Blues.” This show combines the motivational lessons from “Beat The Blues” with a live concert featuring 80 songs that changed the world! The performance traces the roots and blossoming of America’s only original art form that ranks among today’s premier global influences.
According to Barry: “It seems that the vast majority of what we see and hear today tends to turn us against one-another. Americans, as an assimilated people like none other, have bravely fused African music with the sounds of Europe and Latin America, to produce an R&B soundtrack that proudly reflects our melting pot society. Learning about and celebrating this unique American art form can, and will, bring us together, entertain us, and teach us about resiliency and accomplishing the impossible!”
Barry’s latest endeavor is another live music performance entitled “Beat The Clock,” a musical comedy combined with a Longevity/Wellness Seminar. The show is being updated to include elements of “Make America Healthy Again.”
Barry has been a member of "Who's Who Worldwide," and is a lifetime member of "America's Registry of Outstanding professionals." A recognized innovator and authority on cost effective recruiting, Barry authored the book "The Keys to Successful Recruiting and Staffing.” In addition, he has written numerous white papers, online articles and a chapter on recruitment outsourcing in the text book "On Staffing: Advice and Perspectives from HR Leaders."
